"The best way to describe how I feel about having my father encourage me
to do better, is blessed. My entire life he has encouraged every dream I
have had no matter how crazy it might have seemed. I think it was
crucial in developing me into the woman I am. It has also taught me to
how to be with my own children. I remember my father once telling me
“don’t try so hard to give your children everything you didn’t have that
you forget to give them what you did have”... and now I understand, one of
the most important things he gave me was an amazing example and I hope I
am able to provide my children with the same."
